My series of recent paintings and narrations called Safe Place Paintings are intended to offer a place of rest for all of us who are feeling the weight of these times. Creating a painting that people may gaze at and move into a deep meditation, is encouraged by a brief narration.
Having a safe place to go helps healing, both physically and emotionally. Having a safe place both inward and outward via the painting also helps us to overcome any addiction we may have to fear, reactivity, anxiety, or even depression. Mostly, I hope these paintings remind us of the natural beauty we are surrounded by and leads us to the great beauty that is always at hand.

Ross,
It is always nature, just the look of something green, rustling sounds, flowers deemed weeds by others, nature which offers most solace.
Love the paintings.
