Chris Harris
Christopher Harris has been capturing the land and light of the American West and Hawaii using pinhole cameras for more than two decades. Among his projects are photographs of the Palouse, a grain growing region of Washington; seascapes along the California and Hawaiian coasts; and explorations of twilight in Skagit, a region north of Seattle known as a home to Washington artists. Currently represented by Harris Harvey Gallery (Seattle) and Platform Gallery (online), Harris’s work has also been included in a variety of national curated exhibitions. Banyan Tree, Hilo, Hawaii, is from his current tree canopy project. His website is chrisharrisphoto.com.
