Margaret Clare Klein
Margaret Clare Klein has been a freelance writer for over 30 years and a nature-lover all her life. With degrees in agriculture and natural resources, she has had a long career working in these fields, including horticulture, parks, forestry, and wildlife. Klein has advocated for preservation of natural areas and for public education about them. Certified in tourism, environmental education and interpretation, and ecopsychology, she is also accomplished in storytelling and ecotherapy. She is a fellow with the International League of Conservation Writers and recipient of the Writing in Conservation Education Award from The Wildlife Society. Along with the Your True Nature company, she co-authored a character education curriculum utilizing totem animals. Now retired, Klein continues her writing craft and hopes to share from her years of experience.
