Maria Rosales' poems have appeared in Byline, Poetry Depth Quarterly, Poetalk, Meridian, The Dirty Napkin, the Nashville Newsletter, Brevities, Medusa's Kitchen and Two Bridges Review as well as several Anthologies. She has won numerous awards from the Ina Coolbrith Circle, and Artists Embassy International. Her chapbook “Time to Fly” was published by Small Poetry Press. Maria hosted the PrimoPoets series in the East Bay for several years, and served on the board of the Ina Coolbrith Circle for eleven years. She retired to Paradise, CA, after 33 years of bluffing her way through a left-brained career as an I.T. professional. In Paradise she formed the 'Writing in Paradise' group, which continues despite its members being scattered by the devastating 2018 Camp fire.
