Patty Ewald
Patty Ewald is a published memoir writer for notable clients, most recently the three volume memoir, SAGEBRUSH DANCING re the life and achievements of global businessman in the petroleum and energy sector, Gordon Barrows. Ms. Ewald is the former executive director of the renowned Actors Studio. An inspiring public speaker, workshop presenter, experienced nonprofit executive in the arts, Ewald is recognized for her leadership in pioneering successful community public arts programs. While running a Model Cities program in Worcester, MA, she developed key cultural and education programming that built bridges between established arts organizations, low income communities and the public school system. These programs sought to build and foster mutual respect and understanding beginning at the grade school level ("Discovery Workshops") to large scale public arts programs ("SUMMER'S WORLD") that encouraged diversity in presenting talent and in-depth cultural offerings from different countries (specifically as immigrants from these countries have contributed to American life and culture.) A graduate of the Harvard Business School's first Institute in Arts Administration, Patty Ewald has taught on the university level (Cornell, Clark University.) Ms. Ewald has advised national corporations on gender related policies; developed and led national programs and international projects while chairing a blue ribbon committee of execs from the national arts unions and CEOs of major corporations. She has worked with the US State Department, the US Labor Department, AFL-CIO and the United Nations.
