Teresa Janssen
Teresa H. Janssen is a teacher who writes about nature, travel, family, and the power of place. She has an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Washington. She has received the Norman Mailer/NCTE nonfiction award, was a finalist in Bellingham Review's Annie Dillard creative nonfiction contest, and in 2018, a finalist in Cutthroat's Barry Lopez essay contest. Her writing has appeared in Anchor Magazine, Zyzzyva, Camas, Lunch Ticket, among other publications. Teresa is at work on an essay collection about a year in Ecuador.
